ROUTE 66
"Get your kick on Route 66"
ROUTE66 is the new Heretica Title based on Trackmania Canyon.
It has 28 maps across 3 levels of gameplay,
based on a single MULTI-ROUTE SNOWY-object scenario, carved with 8 COLORED PATHS and many alternate routes and racelines, leading to the same finish.
More than 500 Medals-ghost are ready to compete and keep you "on track".
THE MAPS
The first 16 maps are SINGLE ROUTES, each one marked by colored signs and checkpoints.
The remaining 12 maps are MULTI-ROUTE, with fewer or no checkpoints.
The multi-routes are:
- FREE: the same map as the Single Routes, without checkpoints.
- FAST: a faster variation, with many new shortcuts.
- MADNESS: completely open map, maximum freedom, enhanced routes for speed and smoothness.
- BACK&FORTH: Going from the Start to a far Checkpoint and then back to the Start, with many options to choose from.
- CIRCUIT: a 2-lap tour of the playfield, with some checkpoints. Very long and demanding, with your choice of routes.
- SHORT: a shorter version of the Single Colored Maps, with very fast ghosts and Medals.
THE MEDALS - FORMULA ROUTE
Instead of using an automated medalling method,
we recorded 3 ghosts for any COLOR ROUTE,
and put on race all together.
Then we fixed his times and equaled to Medals (Gold,Silver,Bronze).
In this way the map raced by ALL the REAL Medals,
but in any race you race against THE SINGLE COLOR ghosts.
CARS
8 colored skin-cars + 1 Heretica are included in the title: each color-car follows his color-route, acting as GPS and giving the exact position in Medals.

INTRO,RACE,OUTRO
The intro will show the route.
In race you will compete against Medals-Ghosts
In the outro you can revise your race.

KNOWN ISSUES:
1) some ghost is bad labeled: impossible to fix at this stage
2) some texture-flickering
3) some replay can result bad on certains routes (in free maps)
4) cars disappears immediately after finish
5) some maps have miscolored trail
6) some Medal target is "unbalanced"
